Metso's Valvcon ADC-Series electric actuator provides an optional internal battery pack. External power drives the internal motor under normal conditions.
When power is lost, the optional internal battery pack comes alive, and can either immediately drive to the pre-set position or continue to respond to a maintained control signal. The ADC-Series is an excellent choice for continuous duty on/off and modulating applications, or any application where a inexpensive solution is required.
