Metso’s Valvcon QX-Series is a compact, rugged, reliable, DC-powered electric actuator designed for quarter-turn valve and damper applications. The actuator is intended for use in hazardous locations and meets NEMA 4/4X/7&9 specifications and carries CSA Certification to both Canadian and US Standards.
Standard features include two auxiliary limit switches, a holding brake, wrench-operated manual override, visual position indication, thermal-overload protection and an internal relay that alleviates the need for the user to reverse polarity to reverse the direction of the motor.
Other options include the tropical and standard heater/thermostat options, ISO-compliant metric output drives, keyed output drives and a declutchable handwheel override.
